Blah Blah Draft Biog
Bursting onto the scene with vibrancy and confidence in their own unique sound are Blah Blah, a trio who’s self-written album makes a bold statement of intent to a jaded music market.
Tom and Jim Smith formed Blah Blah in 2003 while studying at university in Edinburgh and were later joined by Joan Smith.
Black Sugar Records, a label with a reputation for nurturing creative new talent, signed them in 2005 and the band have since written and recorded their brilliant debut album.
Over the next year Blah Blah will strike a chord with music lovers via a selection of live gigs in the UK and Europe, while also daring to be different with a collection of short films and videos.
Fresh, new and engaging, their music catches the nuances of their writing and steers clear of mundane sounds, opting instead for an intense and piercing sound that manages to be effortlessly and irresistibly catchy and engrossing.
Their quality drenched debut album will be released on ....08 on Black Sugar Records.
